King Carter, Born Daud Carter was raised on the Westside of Charlotte. He created the label Young South Entertainment with the goal in mind that they are not like the average Indie Label but considered themselves to be a
Major Indie Label.
With his latest album, No Choice, he created the concept of “The No Choice Campaign” where he parallels himself and albumpromotion with the presidential election. King Carter refers to himself as the young Barak Obama using his campaign phrase, “I didn’t have no choice but to make this and you aint got no choice but
to love this”.

I think that we should all work hard to support our local artists. I think that he has talent and potential and with the right team and PR, he'll certainly go places. So, get to calling your radio stations and local DJs
