Me: Vintage Fur CoatOn the streets for Fall/Winter 08'-09 there will be fur to be seen everywhere! Designers such as Fendi, Dolce & Gabbana, and Chanel has fur falling all on their catwalks for Fall/Winter 08-09. Fur will be hitting the sleepless streets of New York and the nightlife scene of Charlotte NC. Whether its authentic fur or faux fur it will be sure to make a statement. Though faux fur has seen its danger days, as it once was so taboo to be caught with one arm in faux fur. People would criticize a person for wearing faux fur, thinking if you were going to wear faux fur you might as well not wear it, because it was a disgrace to those that wore the real deal.
Fur vests are of major trend now for the fall/winter as well. I am a huge fan of faux fur vests, because they instantly make an outfit edgy or chic. Retailers such as Topshop,Topman (faux fur coat) has featured these vests on their website for an affordable price. Glam Twins: Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen has featured fur coats and vests in their brand Elizabeth and James.
