This year the world was introduced to a new trend, Cyber Punk. The style is an infusion of robots and outer space. Beyonce' recently rocked a unique robot-esq glove to the MTV EMA's earlier this month for her performance of her new single "If I Were A Boy." The glove definitely adds an edgier appeal to her than her usual ordinary style. Victoria Beckham rocked a pair of extreme silver pumps with a R2D2 style dress for a past photo shoot.
Cyber Punk is styled in various ways. Latex leggings, neon colors, bold exaggerated collars and shoulders are an example of this style. New comer, Lady Gaga emulates this style in a Retro Glamor futuristic appeal. The style is even evident in ATL natives Keri Hilson and Ciara videos for "Return The Favor" and "Go Girl."

I totally Beyonce is the future.....but who was she that day...Sasha or Beyonce? lol
If done properly the futuristic trend could be a huge hit in the fashion community. Take the pieces that work for you and your environment. Not everybody can pull off outfits like those worn by Beyonce and Victoria. Not to mention, you don't have to limit yourself to just futuristic outfits, but they're cool accessories out there as well. Experiment with making this trend your own.
